Kenne Bell 2.6 to a Mammoth?

Has anyone done this upgrade?

It isn't an upgrade but the purchase of a new kit. I was going to swap to a 2.8H Mammoth kit but KB wanted another $6k for it. I was hoping I could just swap the blowers but they made the lower intake different.

Damn it! I was afraid of that! Wonder if I can bolt the mammothfold and inlet system on my 2.6?

When talking to KB it will bolt up but you will not have enough firewall clearance. This doesn't seem right to me since the 2.6 and 2.8 have the same snout length and the 2.8 is 3/4" longer than the 2.6. I believe it will fit with out a problem but you will have to do some fab work to get the by-pass valve to fit. The other thing is to get KB to sell you just the Mammoth inlet as they price the throttle body separately. I can tell you from personal experience it was hard to get the lower adapter plate from them when I cracked mine and those we notorious for breaking due to having to use permatex gasket maker on them.

Your best bet may be to buy a 2.6H as that was a huge difference in mine and try and buy the Mammoth intake at the same time.
