Kenne bell blower not producing boost

So last night I did a test of pulling off the vacuum line opening the BPV valve plugging the vacuum port with my fingure. IT should stay open I am told. Mine slammed shut meaning the float is not opperating fully???

Kenne Bell is sending me a new one either way so my figures are crossed

With no vac, the valve should be closed.

^^^^. No vacuum and it should close. Vacuum should open it to allow the boost to bypass under less than wot conditions.

Did you get the orifice piece to put into the vacuum line before the BPV and if you did, did you verify that it is installed correctly?

New BPV in and she is alive!!!!!!

those BPVs seem to cause issues, despite what Kb says. The kit I had apparently had developed a similar issue due a defective valve solenoid.
