STR.T's are in stock--and lots of 'em. They were $399/set, now $318.08/set.

Sports are on sale too, even though we are *still* waiting on the fronts... Were $750/set, now $597.36/set.

I've been debating whether I should buy stuff for my new car or try to be happy with what I've got. Sale price for the Sports just tipped the scale, ordered. Maybe next paycheck I'll be able to order the springs & strutmounts to go with em'. Plus having Sports sitting in a box will be motivation to save faster.

BTW, for a street car, are the Steeda HD mounts really worth $260 (or whatever they cost)? Seems really expensive considering I already have to order some GT500 upper strut mounts to get the friggin isolater or whatever. $260 seems is almost the cost of a set of swaybars or something. Seems like money would do more elsewhere.

Using the gt500 mounts and elongating the lower hole on the struts gave me enough camber to be well within specs. Make sure the GT500 mounts you order are the ones with this P/N: M-18183-C. I didn't see any of the older ones out there, but if you order from LRS you will get the right part number mount and the best price.

Sam, if you would of told me you were going to have a sale, I would have waited and ordered the Sports.

How long is the sale going to last and how long do you expect before the sport fronts will be available?

How long is the sale good for... and is there free or flat rate shipping..? =]

This is a great price even if there is a shipping cost involved.
If I recall correctly, my shipping from Sam was minimal... and was certainly not going to deter me from buying my Koni Sports the last time they were on sale.

Could these be adjusted for drag applications also?

Full soft front, full hard rear, sure... but probably not the best for a Drag application.

Sale runs into May. The shocks can be adjusted for drag racing, but are NOT drag shocks, they are control shocks--and drag shocks are lousy at that and ride quality. There is shipping, it's not free at this price, or flat rate. To CA, about $30 or so and no sales tax.

Is there any significant difference between the STR.T's and Sports besides rebound damping adjustability? Is compression damping roughly the same? Anything else?

thanks

Sports have a bit more compression damping, and of course the rebound damping... STR.T's rebound isn't hugely weak but does reside in the the lower portion of the Sport's range of adjustment.

Thought I'd chime in and say that I matched my Koni STR.T with FRPP K springs and am very happy. Also, bought 07 GT500 wheels with 275's all the way around. Rides better than stock over small bumps and is very controlled over larger ones. Thanks, Sam, for getting the ball rolling for me by putting the Konis on sale.

Great to hear they work great with the K springs! Sam is it bad to have str.ts up front and the adjustable ones in the back? either way ill be ordering new shocks for the rear soon!
