well actually what cekim told me is that it wouldnt even benefit me very much even being FI. He is a very smart guy and im gonna take his advice and hold off and I would suggest the same to you. There are some pretty high horsepower cars on here still running the stock throttle body and have no plans of changeing it. Just up to you and how much money you have to blow! lol

Is it worth the cash if I'm just running LTs, JLT II, CMCV deletes and 100 shot of nos?

Nope, it is not worth it for your mods.

When you start pushing 600RWHP, then a bigger TB may be necessary as well as a much stronger bottom end for that matter!

Hope this helps.

aftermarket dbw tb... nightmare from hell if you ask me a guy on moddedmustangs.com has a sweeeeet monblade tho.. kennebell'd, forged, said this monoblade gained 62hp. but it might be giving him problems... and i've heard its a pina anyway so my call=stockers great. the restriction in the s197's intake tract becomes the intake itself, the heads actually outflow the stock intake manifold.. thats why i cant wait for c&l or f.a.s.t. i think a lot of people will be selling their blowers/turbos..

For a normally aspirated setup? Not this ole boy, if anything I'll go to the 3.6" pulley and 10# of boost!! BTW, Saleen has a nice "intake" on its own. Nice long runners for gobs of torque!!

Thx,

Mike

I think the throttle body becomes a restriction on twin-screws quicker than the "pusher" power adders (turbos, centrifugals). I think psfracer can vouch for that, while other big power turbo/centrifugal guys still use the stock TB.

im talking about n/a motors man... manifold is aimed at n/a apps... so unless you have a centrifi, which looks like your p/d, it's useless.
