Hello I just replaced my throttle body and it keeps throwing it into limp mode. Does anyone know what else could be the problem it would really help and it keeps throwing a lot of codes. For the throttle body

Please post a lit of codes. Did you clear the codes and reset everything after replacement?

If it happened after the TB install, it’s the TB.

Aftermarket TBs are very hit or miss. You might get lucky, you probably won’t.

Fords ECU tuning in 05+ cars is very sensitive to the TB, so even minor imperfections in the casting, blades or the motors themselves could throw a wrench light.

I would return and get a Ford OEM TB and will likely solve your problem.

Could I try to fix or clean the original one that was on it before cause it was throwing the same codes when I replace it. The mechanic said I should replace it. But all the codes are the same when it had the oem one. Would that still be cause with the aftermarket one would it still throw all the same codes.

Why was the TB replaced in the first place?
Why cant ppl asking for troubleshooting advice not list what the codes actually mean? Im not looking them up...

Especially when there is no specific year or engine listed.
