Holy shit are you stalking me Brian!?!?! I took it this past Saturday, but it wasn't anything to brag about. Granted it's been a while since I've been to the track.

1. It was hotter than Satan's balls out there
B. I think I've got a boost leak because I was only making about 5psi from the normal 10psi
3. Best run was a 13.0 @107 spinning through 1st and 2nd

This is from a couple weeks ago when he was down at my place but he texted me with what it ran (12.24@112) then mentioned a supercharged 07 mustang with chrome fr500's that went 13.0@107. Knowing you were in the area, it wasn't difficult to guess... :boobies:

You need to throw some tires on that thing then show him what a 3v can do...;-)

There's something def wrong with the car. I'm going to take it apart this weekend and see what the deal is

I'm still trying to understand centri blowers, but it would only make 5-6psi of boost and then slowly build up to 10psi and as soon the car shifted it dropped back to 5psi which I believe is normal right because of the rpms? The power is there, I just hope I didn't miss something during the install even though it's been running from what I know fine since I put it on.

The lbs of boost will change when your rpms drop. No way around that. Shift as close as you can to your redline and switch to a steeper gear if you're running something less than 3:73's

That's what I figured. Sadly I thought I had 4.10's going in today, but the mechanic called me earlier today and told me they def weren't 4.10's in the box labeled 4.10s!! Turns out they were 3.73's so I'll be calling someone in the morning to complain about that, but I went ahead and got him to put them in since he already tore into it.

Thanks for the help Jaye! Now get back to the wife LOL!

Hey Jaye, did you upgrade you bypass valve or do you still have the one that comes with the kit?

I agree that something is not right. Even with 5 lbs of boost I'd expect your mph to be a bit higher even with the weather that day. Was that your only pass? What was your 60'? Were you idling the whole time in the staging lanes?

My best 60ft was 2.1 and there was no one really there so every time I just pulled right into the lane and went. Doesn't really feel like it makes any power out of the gate, but when 2nd/3rd gear kick in I get no traction at all. I'm suppose it's the 3.31's killing me I just don't know.

The thing about a centri is you're always playing catch up. It's stock off the line. 3:73's will help that because you'll launch a little harder and get your rpms up faster so you're into your boost quicker. Definitely get some sticky tires and get that 60' time down.

Like Taxman mentioned, gears will certainly help you get into your powerband quicker. The 3.31's wouldn't make your mph that low IMO. I've seen guys on here in the past with 3.31 geared centri cars trapping 112+ with ease, even in the heat. I just wonder if maybe you're hazing tires enough in 2nd and 3rd to where the car isn't actually gaining speed?

Yeah I was trapping at 117 on street tires. Haven't run the 1/4 with my drag radials yet.
