Here are a few crappy cell phone pictures. But you get the idea of how tight and clean the chassis work is.

I'll get more pics Thursday for you guys. I just snapped a few quick cell phone pics before I left.

It has removable side bars. It's not able to be NHRA certified because of that... But it's what he wanted b/c of his wife and kids that get in the car, but it'll pass our local tech. Which is all he wants.

That's interesting as I thought you could have side door swing outs, but the cross bar between the hoop had to be non-removable??

So is this a custom bar set-up or a kit?

I thought the same and have been told the same by a Tech guy and a chassis shop.

I don't see a spine bar in those pics. Is it set low?

Are you guys going to start selling pre-bent kits now or just custom jobs?
Earl

No, we won't be offering these as a mail order kit. These bars and cages are fit so tight, b/c of the custom bent bars that there are hours behind each bar and we couldn't offer that fitment through a pre-bent cage. I'm sorry.

This one was $1,950 which included the removable side bars and removable cross bar. Which is an extra $150 per bar. So, for a standard 6 point, you'd be looking at $1,500

John - does that include removing and reinstalling the interior?

so is this fact? swingout door bars became not legal for nhra? is this maybe unique to verts? I know the back seat crossbar cannot be removable...

From what I understand, there is not a difference between verts and hardtops regarding door swing outs. I would assume the reason this bar is not NHRA certified is due to the removable cross bar for the hoop.

This does seem like a decent price as I was told a custom one around here would run in the $2K range.

Looking forward to seeing some interior shots and how the bars are routed along the rear panels and seat.

It's not a swing out that this car has. The owner wanted removable side bars.

Swingouts are legal

Removable are illegal
