Has anyone considered MBRP as a possible alternative ? From what I've read about them, their products have excellent quality in both materials and workmanship and are also backed by a lifetime warranty..

I just may consider purchasing either their muffler delete axle back or pro series muffler.. $400.00 for the (T304 SS) pro series muffler and under $300.00 for the (T304 SS) pro series muffler deletes and under $270.00 for the (aluminized SS) pro series mufflers that are real bargains when compared to Roush, Borla and Corsa IMHO..

T304 is a higher quality SS than T409, though both are corrosion resistant (T304 has a better protection rating however). T409 may get surface rust, and T304 may obtain a golden-like color after a lot of heat stress. Usually, T304's can be polished back to an original color, or close to it (I had done it a few times with my Borla's).

Companies such as Flowmaster and the cheaper ones do not always use T409, and may even use "aluminized" SS. This is why some of the lower end exhaust brands will rust.

Obviously you misinterpreted my post.. The MBRP pro series axle backs are offered in both T304 grade SS and aluminized SS with polished T304 SS tips.. The pro series in T304 SS go for $ 394.99 and the aluminized SS are $269.99..

Their pro series muffler delete axle backs are only available in T304 grade SS and are $294.99.. Either way they're both a bargain and alternative compared to Roush, Borla and Corsa.. Btw: every MBRP system has undergone countless hours on their in-house Mustang 1100 AWD-SE Chassis Dynomometer, hundreds of miles on road and track and numerous tweaks and modifications to get maximum performance and optimal sound while also reducing annoying cabin drone as part of the design process..

This. You get what you pay for. Roush and Corsa are more expensive because of build quality and--more importantly--not sounding like loud shit on the highway. I just took off my Corsa exhaust after 12,000 miles of use, and it still looks like the day I installed it. I replaced it with a used Roush system that also looked brand new.

Magnaflow sucks, bee-tee-dubs. Shitty fitment, shitty rusting steel, and drones so loud you can't even hear the radio.

I don't think I misinterpreted anything. All the ones you linked are straight pipe designs (just a tube), or glasspack designs (a tube with insulation stuffed around it, in MBRP's case, SS wool). Roush's offerings (glasspack type) and MBRP's Pro T304 offering, linked above (both essentially the same design), are pretty similar in price ($400-$500+) depending on the MY you are looking at, and who you shop from.

Corsa's and Borla's are mostly turbo mufflers. Corsa uses "reflective multi-channels" while Borla's uses multi-cones/tubes in their designs. Both involve more work and material, therefore more $$$. If you find MBRP's similar type of mufflers on the Mustang's, the cases are usually aluminized or T409 with T304 at the tips only, giving them a price point advantage. "Full" T304 versions, from MBRP, end up being within a couple hundred dollars of Corsa and Borla.

No offense, but Corsa is way overpriced at $700.00+ for an axle back exhaust despite how well their build quality happens to be.. Same applies to Roush and Borla, as not only is quality a factor, but your also paying for the name and advertising costs as well..

I totally agree about Magnaflows, as there also way overpriced and they drone so friggin loud under 2000 RPM.. I have the Magnaflow streets and can't wait to get rid of them..

Steeda also offers really great build quality on all their axle back exhaust systems as well and they're just as well known as Roush, Borla and Corsa, but at a fraction of the cost that also includes a lifetime warranty just as MBRP offers on all their pro series axle back exhaust systems..

IIRC although Borla, Magnaflow and I believe Corsa also offer lifetime warranties, Roush does not.. Their warranty is good for just 3 years..

At any rate, my choices are now between Steeda Autosports and MBRP !

Overpriced ! that's why I can't afford them lol.. But even if I could, I still can't justify paying $700.00+ for axle backs.. However that's just my opinion

Do you have a 2005-10 4.6 3 valve or 2011-15 5.0 Coyote ?

IIRC the Coyote 4 valves are tuned differently compared to the older 3 valve 4.6 from my understanding.. Being that I have the older 3 valve 4.6 may have something to do with it, but it's just a guess on my part..

Otherwise I have no clue why I have drone with the Magnaflow streets.. I also still use the stock cats with X mid pipe

Edit: I just noticed by your avitar that your Stang is a 5.0 Coyote 4 valve..
