My buddy who is doing a 2v-3v swap sent me this link to these "forged" pistons. I thought it was fishy being that they are Male/Roush boxed. Far as I recall Roush's never came forged. And $400 is pretty cheap for forged. I say you get what you pay for, but he insists on asking the 3v crowd.

So, Legit or Junk?

Roush offers a forged block by itself and as part of an upgrade with a supercharger.

Those look like Mahle pistons to me, the boxes are correct and so are the included parts.

I say legit and a good deal if your buddy is looking for a 4032 piston. Keep in mind the 3v chamber volume is 52cc not 44 like the ad says so compression ratios will be different than advertised.

Good to know, thanks guys! He is building for n/a-nitrous so 8.5:1 is no good for him. The search goes on!

well that alloy is also low expansion which = glass hard in my book. ill take 2618 over anything else.
