Leveling the car????/

Does anyone know if there are any springs out there that will level the rear with the front? I dont really want to lower the whole car but I do want to close the gap in the rear...

IMO, even if you close the gap on the rear, there is still a decent size gap on the front and getting a mild drop spring such as the FRPP would make it look better and handle better all around. Besides, putting an aftermarket spring on the back and a stock spring on the front will most likely make it handle terrible.

Ford Racing's new spring kits lower the 05-09 1" compared to the old K springs which lowered the car an extra 1/2"
kit number:
M-5300-P is the 1"
M-5300-K is the 1.5"
M-5300-Q is the Cobra Jet springs

A good brand of shocks. There are many out there to choose from. Don't forget to replace the factory strut mount with the Shelby GT500 version. The GT500 strut mount is a big improvement without spending the huge price tag on an aftermarket mount. Also, a good quality set of spring compressors used with care.

If you go with a drop of more than 1 1/2 inches, you will need to start buying Control Arms and a Panhard Bar to correct the misalignments it causes. Drive shaft and axle will need adjusted.

Thanks man I appreciate it...So If I dont drop it more than 1 1/2 inches in the front I dont need to do an alignment? I just put on brand new upper strut mounts this weekend when i put the new wheels and tires on it. I have a complete BMR rear suspension set up with QA1's in the rear. So really it looks like I need to just get some good springs and maybe a new set of struts...

You will also need an adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rear. Even with the minimal drop of Roush rears, mine shifted by ~ 1/2in. Although it would not be real noticable unless you are running wider wheels/tires, something to consider.

That looks good man.... that looks like what I am trying to do... How much was it lowered in the rear??? here is a pic of how my car looks at the moment

The rear dropped a little less than inch. And when measured now, the front is about a 1/4in lower than the rear. But I also have a supercharger and that actually helped give me just a little more drop in the front.

The Steeda sport springs lower just enough and the ride is still nice, though I'm sure you can't go wrong with FRPP, Saleen, Roush, H&R, etc. I like the Steedas because they're constant-rate springs.

The Roush p/n is 401295. Unless you are in a hurry, I would recommend just watching the classifieds as I have seen alot of these pop up recently for under $100.

i have the roush rear springs also and they work great i don't have numbers on how much it lowered it but it looks level and i did not need the adj P/H bar but one tire is sticking out like an 1/8 of an inch or less and it is hard to notice

That's not necessarily true. Your rear might already be off center from the factory. Any drop will cause the rear end to shift to one side. Whether or not that shift is enough for you to warrant an adjustment is subjective. It may even shift to center if you're already off from the factory. I adjusted mine within an 1/16", it is my understanding that an 1/8" is negligable, but not for me and my big ol fat tires.
