So i bought a set of Long tubes and an off road H pipe to go with them. my problem is that my car is a daily driver, and i leave for work at 5:30 am 5 days a week. my neighbors will have my head if i dont keep the car somewhat quieter than a straight midpipe. so what are my options? resonators? mid mufffler system? high flow cats? I already have the FRPP borlas on the axle back so it pisses them off enough. i have to drive down my street at 10 mph in third gear just so i dont get nasty phone calls. any input is greatly appreciated guys and gals.
thanks

I have the JBA long tubes with O/R H-pipe and resonators welded in.
I really can't tell you how much of a difference the resonators made because they were in before the Long tubes were, but at light throttle my car isn't that loud.

Besides my neighbor is my mother-in-law a little louder is just one more thing I can do to piss her off.

Find out if your town has a noise ordinance.
I used to get complaints, alot of them in fact, about my S197 V6 with Flowmaster American Thunder axelback.
I asked a local cop, found out there is NO NOISE ORDINANCE for my town... which means that not only do my neighbors have no basis for what is considered "abnormally loud", but they have no legal right to bitch and whine about it, even if they did.

Yeah, but then they'll just key your car or put a nail in your tire.

Get a set of Magnaflows. I had a set and could barely hear the damn thing with LT's. I'm actually considering going back; the sound is starting to wear on me.

I guess that's a possibility too. My neighbors know that if they ever did something like that I'd probably just sledgehammer their car, so I doubt they'd do anything. I park in the backyard too, now, so they'd have to hop a fence to get to it.
You could always garage it if that's a possibility.

i live on the outskirts of NYC so its not easy to get away with hiding the car. as for the noise, i still have to deal with these people, loud or not. Kenneth, what resonators do you have?
