There are many tuners out there, we all know that. Most everyone knows that Jon Lund is one of the best.

I think most know Ken Bjonnes as well, formerly of Modular Depot in Cincinnati. He was my local go to guy, and one of the best out there as well. He was recruited away from my hometown to write tunes for Diablosport. That left a big gap locally, and that's how I ended up with Jon doing my remote tuning.

I spend a lot of times on the forums, and it seems that the biggest gripe out there was access to Jon. Jon is a very busy man, as he double duties as a full time pilot. So, in the past, turnaround time could take a bit on the tunes. They are definitely worth the wait though.

I was more than ecstatic when I found out Ken was stolen away from Diablosport by Jon to head up Jon's business. You have 2 of the best tuners in the country now working as a team.

2 weeks ago, the guys were working together til almost 10:30pm helping me to get dialed in for the NMRA Atlanta race. We had been chasing a fuel gremlin, and it turned out to be the f/p regulator. Late Wed was the first chance I had to get to the dyno, and they did a great job dialing the car in to 1003 rwhp. (Corrected down from 1030).

After an initial hit Friday, I emailed a log in, got an updated file. Made another hit, emailed the log in, and got another file back.

The thing that amazed me most about the email that came from Ken was that it said "This file should be good for another 2-3 hundreths".

I thought that was strong as death. Considering Jon / Ken / and power by the hour are out there promoting their own turbo kit. (A great power adder option).

The fact that they are helping another business owner, selling a competing product, dial in every ounce of power. It is just a testament to their integrity as tuners.

The car had been 9.30 w/ 1.445 60'. We got after it the next morning with the tune, Ken was correct that there was more power, but unfortunately the cold track wheel hopped the car to a 1.482 60'. Still went a 9.31 though. After that, the NMRA told me to slow it down.

Currently we are upgrading the cage and hoping to get after some 8 second e.t.'s in our daily driven 3900lb beast.

Ken now has a complete support site up that has great turnaround time for your tune updates / needs at support.lundracing.com.

I definitely recommend them for all your tuning needs. Whether you go direct, through evo, lethal, or us for your Lund tune. Just make sure it's a Lund!

It's good to have someone there for ya, when it comes to tuning.

I witnessed Ken sending tune updates to Beefcake at the NMRA Atlanta race. Very good support.

The real test of a shop is how they treat the other piss ant customers.. ones not popular on the car forums or go 9sec 1/4 miles.. hell even with some of that I have gotten F'ed over :headscratch:

even the tuner I have now wont return my e-mails for a tweek. I tell him I'm burning too much gas when the car starts up(mostly at cold temps) he replies " that dont jive", what did you change.. I tell him nothing and dont hear back.. like I have nothing better to do then make up shit..

I guess colder weather and temps cant affect tunes at all.

I will fully endorse Lund and his crew anytime, I have only received one tune from Jon and thats all I needed. I think contacting them directly is the best option, good thing they opened that up. I will be contacting them soon when I update some things on the engine.

I just got a new Lund Racing tune for my bolt-on 2011.

It "feels" better than my old tune. Ken took the time to discuss, via PM here and on the Lund site, what I wanted.

I'm a nobody, I got treated fine. Now I need to get to the track and log to fine tune the shifts...

That's the way all customers should treated. I had sent Ken a pm about a tune but have not heard back from him yet.

+1 I too recently had great dealings with ken at lund racing. I still need to send him logs for fine tuning but that'll have to wait until I get new clutch and diff in

Be patient. It's worth the wait because they're just two guys with a huge customer base. It's only fair to do a few at a time to not get overwhelmed and stay focused on tasks at hand.

My thoughts exactly.

I can, however, vouch for Beefcake. He has some of the best prices around - got my SW LT's from him for a hell of a deal!

We have had the opportunity to work with several people running Lund tunes. There is/was a problem with contact and turn around time but thanks to their new efforts it looks like that is a thing of the past. I wish these guys the best of luck as they seem to be pioneers in the trade. I look forward to working with them even more in the future.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

I just replied, sorry about the delay.

For anyone needing tuning support the very best way to contact us is via http://support.lundracing.com As you may have guessed we are very busy and getting buiser. The support site helps us stay organized and keeps PMs from falling through the gaps.

In this case, I had read his PM but was on my phone and didn't want to respond right there. Then I forgot about it.

On our support site, it creates a "ticket" that stays open and I can look at all open requests and never miss anything. That doesn't mean you'll always get a response right away, but nothing will be 'forgotten'

Keep in mind, I just started in March and during that month we went to both Bradenton and Texas. We are just getting started with getting Lund Racing to the point of the best customer service combined with some of the best tuning out there.

this is good news for me. I am bringing my car out to PA at then end of May for a dyno tune by Lund.

Thanks for the reassurance, I am at whits end with this car, hell, all I did was go forged and change cams and it has been an issue.

I just added an upper pulley, a CAI, and a Lund tune to my GT500 and got 125hp and 105 torque. To say I'm happy is an understatement. Will definitely use him again for my next round of mods.
