Best attempt of the evening. [email protected] mph. 2.0 60'.

DA was 4300'. Corrected that is a 12.0@116.

Little disappointed the car didn't mph better than it did. I was expecting 1-2 mph more.

Anyhow it was fun. Had a total of 5 attempts and ran faster every time. The car seemed to leave better with some revs vs. launching off idle. 2014 GT. 6r80.

CAI, AED tune, header back exhaust, and a 1 pc driveshaft. Automatic.

If it's off it isn't by much. I went back and compared against a friend of mine who has a boss mani, 4.10, cai, and o/r x. Both of us are on email tunes but his was Steeda or BBR and mine is an AED.

I was 1 tenth slower in 500' better DA. Corrected he has 2 tenths on me.

So yah it's close. Kinda figured I'd beat him. Shoot! lol

Kinda scratching my head trying to figure out why my car traps lower than my friends 2012.

He got 2mph better trap in 700' worse DA.

Is a boss mani really going to give you that much of a gain? He's even got shorter gears than I do which should hurt his trap not help it.

What do you usually run in good DA?

There is no good DA here. Our track is at 3800 feet. Anything under 5000' is exceptionally good.

In order to compare two cars running on different dates here I am forced to use a calculator. According to that calculator my friend's 2012 traps 119 at sea level and mine traps 116. He has 4.10 gears and a boss mani. I do not. I have a 1pc ds. He does not. Those are the essential differences in mods.

Is a 116 trap slow for a coyote at sea level with my mods? My mods are in the OP.

Your buddy traps 119 with those mods with an auto?

You are right where you should be, if anything 116 is high. The autos just don't trap like the manuals.

I am at sea level, in 1000 DA I trap around 111 with just a tune and mufflers. Race weight of about 4000 pounds.

Also remember those calculators aren't the best...so hard to say.

He traps 119 at sea level - in a DA calculator. The calculator says 116 for my results.

Hence my question about 116 being slow or not for a car with my mods, real world, at sea level.

Well the DA calculator is optimistic if you ask me. I doubt either of you would see those speeds with your mods being autos. You seem fine to me...

Thanks I guess we'll have to see what happens next May when they reopen and I can race on the same day he does.
