I really need to get the chassis going better to harness this power. I was only able to muster
60 ft = 2.02
330 ft = 5.27
1/8 et = 7.93
1/8 mph = 95.35
1/4 et = 12.01
1/4 mph = 119.69
I was having HUGE issues with the launch. The car would spin then bog and pull the motor way down on the drag radials. I really wouldn't get to pulling well till after the 60' mark and I think that is where all my mph went. It was like tripping the beams at the start line and not taking off till the 70' mark. If I could have even matched my 1.70 N/A 60ft times I would have been running mid 11's which is where I thought I would be.
Right now my rear suspension consists of Ground control rear springs HPM lower control arms and relocations brackets, BMR anti roll bar, stock upper control arms and stock shocks.
I also had a popping sound coming from the rear when beginning my burn out and on launch. I'm thinking either lower control arm bushing, upper control arm just screaming for mercy, or the driveshaft hitting the body because of poor pinion angle. If the LCA bushings need replaced I may be forced to replace them since HPM is out of business now. I don't know where I would find replacement bushings. If that is the case I am probably going to go with BMR spherical LCA's and relocation brackets.
I also kept blowing off the blower piping from the blower outlet and I kept pushing the throttle body coupler off of the throttle body. I got things tightened down but need to get the car back on the rack to see if everything else is still tight.
Overall it was great to get back to the track but I really want to get the chassis figured out so I can get better times going.
