Ok so last night I was running a buddy of mine when I went to shift to fourth and got nothing. The clutch has only the pressure of the spring holding it out. I could shift the car via rpm match shifting and while in gear, at wot, the clutch held fine with no signs of slipping. I got under the car and looked through the service hole and the slave cylinder was moving in and out ok. I then took off the master cylinder and tried to test it out. What seems to the most common problems for failures on these?

Usually it's the slave and caused by an aftermarket pressure plate with too much clamping force to overcome.

What clutch do you have and how long have you had it?

You got 152k out of a clutch! Go with another stock clutch, they are working great for you. rockauto.com has several packages. New take off clutches come up on ebay for very reasonable prices.

Dang I was hoping the 2+ would have been a better choice. I had a stage 3 spec on my SRT and it worked great. I might go back with one of those then.

Although different platform the 3+ on my 4.0 was great, the 2+ is kinda junk on the 4.0 as well.

Well it's not the master cylinder. Had a friend give me one off of his old car. Still doesn't work. So now it's either the slave or the clutch.

Exedy Mach 400 here, stock-like and lovin it with my D1!

This is what I put when I did my auto to manual swap.. Love the damn clutch kit, pedal is light as hell and it does great with hard driving so far. only about 5,000 miles into it though.
