Metal Polish Recommendations

Any particular brand or kind you guys have seen give the best results....mainly chrome?

I use Nevr Dull. Works great and I use it on all types of metal, especially my exhaust.

Nevr Dull will scratch. In military school 35-40 years ago we had to keep our belt buckles and collar pins polished. Nevr Dull left small scratches so only the new kids used it. The rest used Brasso.

To be honest I haven't polished much chrome or brass since leaving that shithole school so I don't have any current recommendations. And based on the reviews on Amazon it looks like Brasso is no longer using the same formula and it no longer works.

For chrome....Windex. You can't "polish" chrome without micromarring it, merely clean it.

But if micromarring is no big deal, then yea, Nevrdull or anything along that line.

For muffler tips, brake cleaner works well. Cuts the black soot buildup quickly and doesn't scratch.

I've used mothers chrome polish, 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water mix cleans fairly well too.

Never tried Windex or Brake cleaner though.

I'm making a large order on Autoality and was looking through there options.

For my wheels, once I have them cleaned up real good, I apply CG JetSeal 109. Makes cleaning them a breeze after, in addition, hardly any brake dust...
