almost done with the kit. looking really good so far. just need to finish letting the accent color dry up then touch up some spots. then it'll be ready for the sealant gloss. worth the money so far in my opinion. way nicer looking than plain cement

now I have to wait 24 hours for it to dry before applying the wet look sealant
I'm real happy with the before and after results from this kit!

difficulty rating is a 3 out of 10. really easy to follow instructions. only advise id give is make sure you don't spray too close to the floor to avoid puddling. directions say 10" from ground. I should have read that part. but after the first pass you get used to the spraying and it's real easy. just takes time waiting for it to dry completely. most important part is the prep work. make sure you scrub and clean the cement before use. I had a pressure washer and made the prep real easy. kit comes with the cleaner you mix with water and that shit is strong. looks like acid when you poor it on the cement. white and foamy stuff

thanks guys. if I were really anal I would say only thing wrong with the kit is it only covers about 250 square ft. wish it came with more stain so I could do my back patio! I'll more than likely pick up another kit in the next few weeks for my patio. love the way it came out and the difference from plain cement. really makes a difference and it'll look better once I put in a couple of benches or patio furniture by the pit and throw some logs in the fire pit soon!

Your fire pit patio has inspired me to build one at my house. I am going to look into it as soon as I move in at the end of the month, I will probably try and tackle it in the spring.

yeah that fire pit was part of the reason I wanted this house so bad when I put my offer on it. the backyard is huge with the fire pit and also the playground and basketball court. not much more I can do other than little things like this to add my own touch to it. one day I hope I'll have the cash to add a nice pool area or spa and I'll be done with it.
