i took it as a learning experience. taking it to the machine shop tomorrow and see what the damage is going to cost me. im just glad it happened at the start of the build and not the end when the motor is put together haha
Took the remaining cross bolts off and was able to remove the crank this morning. Block is ready to get machined. After talking to a few shops here in town I decided I will be taking the block to get worked on at a shop down south. Heard a lot of bad things about shops here and don't want to risk getting some bad work done on the block. Getting some recommendations for reliable shops down south and hoping to take it down to get worked on sometime in July.
Stock Crank out
All pistons, rods, etc off the block
Need to buy a better camera so i can stop taking pics from my phone soon. I should be moving into my house at the end of the month and will be taking my ARH Longtube setup off the car over a weekend and selling them once they're out. Plan is to use that cash toward the forged rods and pistons.
