Hi everyone! I've been a Mustang fan for a while and finally got a hold of my dream car. White 2008 Mustang GT Premium. While it comes with a nice package and the previous owner did some nice upgrades to the intake, exhaust and suspension, I'd like to do some appearance mods, but can't make up my mind. I'm afraid I might not do a great job. Here are some pictures: https://www.instagram.com/mustang.gt.miami

Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!

There's some free stuff you could do like get rid of the caliper covers and hood scoop.

Nice looking car, did you get a good price on it? Just curious as I have an 08 also. Thanks

Cafe Bustelo -- my favorite. You have a blank canvass where the sky is the limit. I get all my ideas from car shows. Welcome!

@DieHarder That looks amazing and more aggressive! And now, as I think of it, makes sense to get it before putting on the racing stripes... Did you get it painted? Did you get a good deal?

Actually, got lucky and found an NOS set online (both front bumper/rear wing) in the exact color I needed. Cost at the time was around $500 for the front bumper; $225 for the spoiler (I know, crazy expensive) and $250 for the rear. I think current costs are around $700/300/350 or there abouts for everything. The stripes are just tape I added. A little bit tricky to get the bumpers right.

Actually, this is my son's car (V6). Dad did all of the modding... Still, can you imagine if any of us had a car like this in high school? I think I would have had a lot better time... My family would have never seen me!

Nice car. If it were mine, I’d add an 07-09 GT500 rear spoiler in place of the pedestal on you have now, add a California special front valence, and some over the top racing stripes. These are more subtle mods, but they really enhance the look of the 05-09s.

The most important thing to remember with mods is do what YOU feel you want. It is easy to ask for suggestions. What if you are not happy with someone elses suggestion?

Depending on where in Miami there are 2 very reputable shops to contact. MAK Performance and Lujan Motorsports.

we all want to "make it our own" but I love the look of that car as is - IMO the all white look can't be improved on, very clean. I would concentrate on performance rather than looks, it's a sweet looking ride. (I would however, think about white wheels - unique and adding to the all white presence. Maybe try white plasti dip to try it out.)
