I remember this too...looks like an amateur electrician was practicing on your engine bay.

It runs somewhat decent at wide open throttle, but it cuts out. The driveability on it is horrible. It studders all the time and breaks up. The only advantage to all of this is that it actually runs. But with their shitty tune I could've done damage to my motor

What has changed since your last couple posts?

Just motivation to get it fixed. I've been busy with school and my new job and now I'm on winter break so I have some time to try and battle this and get it fixed.

I haven't been driving it, and an email tune would just be more waste of money that I don't have

I was gonna suggest this as well. Call up BBR or Brenspeed or any of the good mail order tuners. I'm sure they would send you a tune that would have your car running 10x better than that.

not necessarily bud. I had mail order tunes for my car when it was full bolt on and also had it modified for nitrous. RWHP was within 3whp of the dyno tune I eventually got and the A/F ratio was spot on. That's why those companies do so much R/D with all the aftermarkets. They typically dont mail out shitty tunes. If they do, they fix it within a day or two..Thats my experience anyways.

Good luck with everything though buddy

Maybe I will go that route, but still, there are more problems with the car than just the tune

Bring it to a real shop, have them get it all figured out, then get a lawyer and bring the bill to him. Let the lawyer do his thing..

I don't have money for a lawyer.... Like I said, I spent everything I had saved up to get my car fixed. After the stock motor blew up with the S/C, because that didn't get installed right either, I started saving money because I wanted everything done right and I wanted everything new. This car has like a bad omen

sometimes you can get a lawer to draw you up a letter at a reasonable price and it might get the ball moving. just get a free consult and see what he has to say.

I want to, and I dont want to get a lawyer. It seems like it'd be so much hassle especially since I'm in Ohio and they are in Kentucky. Plus by the time I pay a lawyer who knows if I'll even get any money back

Most of the parts costs look reasonable, but 8 hours to install a GT500 fuel system? Even if they had installed the BAPs that is stupid. I got a qoute from a shop I actually trust of 2 hours, and I did the GT500 system with the help of a five year old (literally) in less than four hours. I'm in no way a mechanic, and it was the first time I had touched a fuel pump of any kind.

Sad they screwed you that way. I hope you get it straight, but I would really recommend a mail order tune from JDM or one of the other tuners mentioned here. They are usually really close, and probably much better than what you have now.

i think you charged you way too much over all. things like the k member and headers etc would be removed and installed with the engine/trans. i think they just added things up to add things up!
