I was very close to sending Larry H. 1/2 the money for a build but he was busy getting ready to go somewhere (honeymoon I thought...). I am not in the loop on this "knowing" about him. Did he not do what he said he would do and was paid to do? anyone got a real quick answer on his last few build problems? Was it he got busy and stopped or he got caught doing something?

He did more (or maybe didn't do would be more appropriate) than I can stand to type here. And he owes a lot of money to some of his customers for what he did and didn't do that caused them to spend a lot of extra money to fix.

Thank you. He put a lot of effort in telling me how he had been out of it for a long time (many years) and was back in it and had time etc. and he was very good at doing it etc. He said whenever I sent him the $1/2 he would have it going but it got down to the details of what I wanted in it etc. and it got too slow (days before email answers) and I dropped of his list I guess. (good thing)

Hmm, well there is one gentleman on this forum who lives in the middle east that told me he paid for an engine and never got it because he couldn't afford what Larry wanted to ship it and Larry refused to send it to a state side relative how could have sent it to him.

Luckily Livernois is only a few hours away, so they will be doing my motor when ready. If I was east coast, i'd be knocking on Kevin's door or JDM. Florida area, i'd get a bbr setup. Good people in all area's with great reps.:thumb:

Nice...I continue to have all the luck.....I fuckin quit!!

SD you sure you wanna use it after all?

Tell ya' what......how about in exchange for you letting me use it I put the rotating assembly into a new block? I've got two blocks that are good, we won't have to use the motor mount adapters, and we're sure everything is in good shape.

Montreal Qc,
Good news Ron,

You didn't break the dowel pins. I can see them in your pictures still intact and in place.

What you broke is a M6 x 1.0mm bolt. The bolt hole has a depth of 21mm.
Here are a couple of pics of my teksid block for reference

You need a #1 screw extractor and a 5/64" bit.
