sounds liek the plugs were fouled. it happens to my car after sitting for extended periods of time. once they heat up and burn off the junk the car is fine again. especially if you are using the HT0 plugs.

isn't a 2v , 4v head gasket basically the same bore wise n all ?
I thought the 3v gaskets had an extra hole in them for oiling the VCT .... The same as the one that is drilled in the Tiskid blocks but with the same bore..... Or am I completely wrong LOL!

do you know where that extra hole is? im concerned about the new gaskets i just installed. i want to verify i have the correct ones. i remember holding them up to my stockers and they looked like all the same holes but alot of the holes on the newer gasket were actually bigger. It was suppose to be a OEM gasket for the 3v, i ordered it from MMR,just want to make sure before i fire it up.

its only for teksid blocks

so your saying i should not have anything to worry about? i thought i checked the new ones MMR sent me against my old ones, they were suppose to be FORD OEM 3V gaskets.that was 2 months ago and now im re-thinking just how good i checked them, lol.

if you are using a 05+ block and a oem 05+ head gasket you have no problem, although i would have used the cometic head gaskets imo

im assuming they are 05+ head gaskets at this point,i got them from MMR. i have read in another post that the 2v,3v and 4v are all the same when using cometics...according to livernois.

called MMR and they confirmed they shipped 07 OEM gaskets

anyone have any idea what could cause a motor to not turn over when you turn the key other than a dead battery?

Not to sound sarcastic - but it's not flooded, right? And you didn't accidently hit the the fuel shut off in the kick panel?

you said it's not turning over. I rule out other things based on that understanding. Correct? no motion right? "spinning"
