Not to sound sarcastic - but it's not flooded, right? And you didn't accidently hit the the fuel shut off in the kick panel?

it would stil lcrank over if it was flooded. jsut wouldnt start. im not cranking. turn key and nothing. battery is fully charged. lights are on inside
fans work, ect

theres no power gonig to starter motor. we jumped the starter and it turns. checked a fuse and relay under hood and they are good. checked fuse in sjb and its good too. any other ideas? it has to be electrical obviously sicne the starter will turn when jumping

When you turn the key on, do the lights come on in the dash?
Check all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood. I burned a few out. In my case it was usually one of the fuses closest to the front bumper, not exactly sure which one. Give them a check.

This is one of those that you are going to have to trace from the switch to the SMJ to the BEC and finally to the starter. Given all the electronics in these cars, it can be a pain.

Oh, you didn't change the PCM by chance did you? If so, then the PATS system could very easily be causing the problem. It IS a starter interrupter system after all.

I only bring that up because my car wouldn't turn over this morning either. I had found my other spare set of keys (the one with the extra key fob on it) and I decided to use it. It wouldn't turn over at all. The little red security icon blinked, but that was all.

I finally remember that when the PCM was replaced last year, I only programmed THREE of the four keys I had as I couldn't find the fourth keyset to take it to the dealer for programming when the PCM was replaced. Thankfully, with two programmed keys, it is trivial to program the key.

Good luck getting to the bottom of this!

do you have dashes on your odometer? -------

i checked this morning. dashes. what does that mean??

Ive seen dashes before too, like when the battery was damn near dead and i turned the key. the interior lights would barely turn on, if at all and the cluster would dimly light with dashes. once the bat charged however it came back. Its not doing that now though as the bat is fully charged and i see dashes

The dashes are in reference to where the numbers on the odometer would be, there would be ---------. I've had this a couple of times and it always revolved around an electrical issue.

I know you checked the fuses, but try pressing down on ALL of them. And I mean press. Something in there came loose on me and the car wouldn't start; liked to give me this weird clicking noise coming from the TB. Took a piece of foam and put it inside the cover of the box to keep them in place.

When you turn the key, does the gauge cluster flash rapidly and you hear rapid clicking?

Is it possible the alarm isn't disengaging? Do the doors unlock when you press the keychain?

Figured so but just trying to help. Seems like it has to be a fuse or a dead ignition switch as SD suggested.

nplugged and the car cranks. plugged in it will not. Does that mean its mistimed? possibly 180 degrees out of alignment or something?
