There are two switches on the clutch. One is normally closed and the other is normally open. Are you using the correct switch? Also, are you connected to the correct side of the switch? Finally, what year is the vehicle? This can have effect the color of the wire you need to tap into.

The N2MB WOT box is the best thing I've used in a long time. Two step operation, no lift shifting, window switch control. Great tool. As long as you have a decent laptop.

My experience with the MSD 2 step is it worked as advertised when used for launch off the line. The first problem I found is it has to be adjusted as the track conditions change. You have to anticipate the changes! The next and far more serious problem I discovered is the cam drive system on the 3 valve is not designed to be bounced off a rev limiter. I beat the hell out of the tensioners and guides until a dowel pin broke. At tare down I found the damper coming loose and the timing chain drive gear on the crank was chewing up its key way. I’m sure if I would have run it one more pass it would have come apart. Do yourself a favor and don’t bang on the rev limiter.

I will go as far to say… if Your touching the rev limiter Your loosing power which translates to slower times.

It's the two step limiter at launch that you bounce off of. Not the big end. With small slicks my 1st limiter is set at 2950. With big tires I set it up to 5500. So it actually helps tremendously with consistency.

Ok my rev limiter is raised to 6,500 (from 6,250 stock) on my little 5.0L. I come out on drag radials at 2,500 easy and stand on it… then poweshift ever gear at 6,300-6,400.

Maybe one of these controllers might work with my N2O? LoL ;)

Yes. You can set your n2O with the window switch. On at x rpm off at x. Or on in certain gears.

thanks for the opinions everyone, car is goin in to storage for the winter so im gonna ponder mabye getting rid of the msd and moving towards the wot box. also i dont plan to be launching at 6000rpm just was looking for consitent launches. i also dont wanna trash the car as its making close to 480hp and has 30 000 km on it, its brand new still. might just give it to the wife and get somthing different to beat on.
