That's what i'm waiting for! Try those injectors. May have same issue

I'm just so frustrated with all this BS. I've had a performance shop check out my car and found nothing but they did notice the "flutter" idle. Had ford check out my car and they found nothing, they thought the idle was normal. :wtf1:

I've had this car since it had 4500 miles, the idle is definitely rough. I can feel vibrations while idling.

I've found once you go into a car like we have the dealerships are going to have a very rough time with diagnosis.

How are your grounds?

I haven't checked all but the ones so far have been ok. Something is causing a strong vibration or rough idle. You can feel it in the driver seat at idle and the floorboard.
I checked/tightened the motor mounts and transmission mount but didn't change anything.

Any thoughts?

When I put my new motor in and bolted up the transmission, I had a bit of excessive vibration at first. My mechanic said it felt like the powertrain was binding. He suggested I loosen up the motor mount and transmission mount bolts, then torque the engine in first and reverse a couple times, then rev it a little in neutral. After that tighten everything back down again. The idea is to let the transmission settle into it's natural state without being bound up. It helped a lot with some vibrations I had.

Been listening and trying to narrow down this vibration, I think it's either my A/C Compressor or Harmonic Balancer Pulley. When at normal operating temp and idle you can feel the vibration pretty easily, but when I turn on the a/c each time it cycles my rpms drop and the idle is worse?

Anyone ever heard of compressor probs with rough idle or bad vibration?

These issues started when I still had the Autolite Plugs in my car, so then my journey began trying to find/fix the issues.

I have new injectors on the way but after more reading into the camshaft sensors I ordered those too for tomorrow. I have a very hopeful feeling that these are my problem, if so I'll explain why afterwards.

It is possible that the original plugs were going bad and you replaced them with bad plug/s.

Forced induction is hard on plugs. They should be changed every year at a minimum.

AC has it's own tables for idle and airflow. It's possible that the a/c portion of your tune needs a little attention or that it's magnifying your original issue.

Also make sure your compressor is not loose.

II think on my stock motor, my compressor bolts became loose and caused a whole lot of vibrations.

Checked that and my pullies today but everything seemed fine. You can feel the vibration in the front, feels like a subwoofer as it hits. I just want my car to run great again, fvck!

Took belt off, started car...shake/vibration still there. Also, checked the motor mounts and engine didn't move. It could be the harmonic balancer or there's honestly no telling with my car!

Installed new HT0's, rough idle remains. Crankshaft pulley should be here this week hopefully :wtf1:

New Crank Pulley installed, rough idle remains. I hate you Ford!

Clutch is my last thought, I'll have to get it checked out and see if that's it. :(
