13.3@107 with 2.1 60ft was my best... Couldn't hook up and pull a decent 60ft... My reaction time was .0245

Sorry for not embedding the footage I'm on my phone...

Tires were 305/35/18 MT ETs I was running 22psi in them. This was my best run of the night. The blue s197 had a m90 blower. I was really hoping to in the 12s... I'm sure my car is capable I just need more track/seat time

Not a bad run. But yea, more seat time. 22PSI is pretty high. 15 is pretty good place to start. If you still spin, lower it a little more. You gotta think, putting it at 22 and then doing your burnout, you just upped the PSI a few. So go about 15 and see how that helps. Also, make sure to get a good burnout. But not too much. There is a science to this. With MTs, you should just get a little bit of smoke and that will be good enough. Nothing crazy. Good luck to ya!

Thanks for the tips! I have just heard that the radials liked a little more pressure and I wasn't getting very many runs in... I had fun an like said ice got lots to learn when it comes to the track... Might be going back in two weeks if the weather cooperates

I just realized you're running 305-35-18's. But that's still ok. I was running 305-45-18's on my car and brought them down to around 14-16 PSI when I raced. That's how I got my first 11-second run with NT555R's. Also, seat time! Haha!

Ill try......see if you can follow along bud...

I dropped the tire pressure to about 20 lbs (it felt really loose and I wasn't willing to go lower yet).

Its all in your 60ft. Your 60ft is holding you back. You already said you aren't hooking, you're not willing to lower the pressure... I bet if you did you'd see a better 60ft and also a better time.

1)20 lbs in a drag radial (at the track) is way too much, its defeating the purpose, you want the back tires nice a soft so when the weight transfers to the rear it FORCES that thread to ground......i run mine at 15 and even 12 sometimes, and I re-check between each run, as you do your burn out....that 20 is increased with heat to much more, ive seen as much as 5 psi increase from run to run......

and set the tires to around 15-17psi

lower your tires PSI

3 people letting you know...........your response.........

Even at 20 lbs they feel really soft and wobbly with a lot more side to side motion than I like.

lol..........

I I might not know a lot but sometimes I know more than others think I know.

this was 2 months ago, so im glad to see you learning! Good luck!!

To clarify, that was two months ago after my first time to the track on drag radials. That was also on the crappy Nitto 555r's I bought used. And yes, the learning curve is rather steep in the first few months. Been going every week since, except for when they are rained out. I've got almost 40 passes on the ET Streets so far and having a blast doing it. That ok with you?

and this whole time i thought it was all in the tune? NO?

I said from the beginning that I thought it was in the tune and all I got was a bunch of crap from people telling me it couldn't be the tune and it was my damn fault. Well it was the fucking tune! So go fuck yourself and stay the fuck out of my threads.

I could not find a single post from anybody who would even consider that perhaps the tune might not be correct. So every single one of you just assumed I was wrong even though I said in the first post that I thought there was a problem with the tune.

Thanks for the help, everyone.

your quick to highlight that it was your first time to the track on drag radials.....thats the reason i find it funny you didnt want any advise from anyone.....its all good buddy! keep doing what your doing, you will break that 11 second barrier one day!!
