My Open Header Video - YouTube Revenue Sharing

Man, I am kinda stoked. I got an email from YouTube telling me that one of my videos gets enough hits to qualify for revenue sharing. I submitted an app. We'll see how it goes.

Hopefully it's not a form letter they are sending to all of their users.

10,440 hit in a little over a year. That averages 25 hit a day.

I got that email for a few of my videos, (a couple have 70k+ views), but i never went through with it because youtube gets all the rights to your content. They can delete it whenever they want, and plus, your probably not going to make shit off of it. I think it was like 1 cent per click lol...

I love this video....I have watched it I know like 10 times minimum...That is a bad ass sounding stang....I wanted to run open headers just to hear what mine would sound like but I have chickened out on the cutouts.....just don;t want to hassle with them if they mess up or something.

I got the Revenue email after one day of our drag car video. It's all about how many hits you get within a certain amount of time.

And after the first one they just keep coming.

i never heard of the revenue sharing scheme before to be honest, but i'm kinda curious now since i have a vid posted on April 2009 that's got over 25k views so far and i never heard from YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVN6Rutr23g) ah well..

edit: oh and another one ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omNFYLiOdE4 ) with 198k views in 3 years!
i wonder if this has something to do with me currently living outside of the US
