Auto for practicality or for performance.
I like it for both. I got tired of traffic with the clutch. Its typically quicker in the 1/4 mile. With a tune the trans is alot more responsive, alot better than stock.

Not a lot around here. Maybe more in the spring. I love the front of the 2011 and 2012 but like the tails if the 13 and 14.

Friend says GT500 rear bumper from 2013 bolts on to his 2011 - to facilitate the 2013 lights. This may not be true, anybody know?

I wouldn't screw around with it - with an auto car I'd get a converter, 15x10 rear racestars and skinnies up front (radial tires,) and a vortech. Run 10's and cruise around with whimsy the rest of the time.

.

True, but then you have to think about the side skirts not matching.

I love my auto. I don't daily drive it (I don't think it's been started for two weeks now) but I wouldn't hesitate to if needed, and with very few bolt ons and tires and you're in the 11's easy.

Ive seen that with a tune, o/r midpipe and maybe a converter high 11's are possible. Correct?

You see what I've got in my sig, that's with street tires (Nittos) and the stock converter. I am pretty positive I can hit 11.99 with DR's and the stock converter. Add in a converter and I should get a few tenths off that.

Mid 11's would be possible.

A converter should be worth 4-5 tenths.

Gotta research how to "drive" an auto mustang. All my other mustangs have been manual. Gonna be weird.
