Uless you are going to put laughing gas on your car I don't see the need for the extra expense of the billet ones.

I'm about to buy some brand new billet ones for $150 -

You'll also notice that Steve mentioned that they will be discontinued soon. That is for no other reason than ford has stopped production of IMRC plates in the Mustang. Starting in 2009 Ford started to manufacture the intake with the IMRC's in the plastic. Hence the demise of the plate.

I would buy the billits for $150 too, but not for $300 when I can get the IRC ones for $150.

Thats why I'm buying them, anything over $150 is too much, if I haden't found these billet ones so cheap I'd wait for some used economy plates to come around.
