I am surprised, Lund has always gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions

Lund isn't the only person who writes tunes at Evo. I'd find out for sure who wrote the tune. If it was Lund, I'd contact him directly.

The build is looking great so far Nasty!

Since you are the first one on here to do this install yourself, would you mind when you get finished just doing a final parts list of what all you had to buy and what all you used off of your motor? Maybe post it in tech. That would make for a good thread/read I think.

This sounds awesome! I gotta admit I was a little worried about how this was going to turnout for you. I'm glad it has worked out for you and you have something to be proud of knowing you did all the work yourself.

Im at over 100 miles now and got on it some to make sure the rings seat
No smoke, no blowby, and not burning oil even though the oil ring intersects the pin now
The car is running great, i need a tune now, it only has offroad h pipe and mufflers

No misfire codes yet with the new clutch and flywheel

Thanks guys

The exhaust is just strait pipe welded where the cats are, then 2 pumped bullet mufflers welded where the resonates were, then strait pipe where the mufflers were

I'm concerned about the thrust washer
I installed it just like it came out, it is in correctly but I don't understand what holds it in place, it is only one half moon piece on the outside of the #5 main and it's the upper
The cap is not machined for a lower, it has a tab where it sits in place but it just seems like it could fall, but the motor runs so good I see no problems I'm scared it could fall later though

Today i did the hardest job ever

I pulled the #5 main with the motor in the car and installed a lower thrust bearing

I feel alot better than just having it ride on a half moon

Engine was still in great shape and i got a premature oil change so im feeling good aboiy it

250 miles and it and the runs like a scalded ape

I will vontinue adding pics as i mod and will be glad to help anyone
