I see alot of guys asking why not just add a breather. By adding a breather and still using the PCV you are introducing a vacuum leak. In order to do breathers you would need to delete the PCV system all together.

Nice setup Jay!! I might need to get something for my '93 LX it had the ghetto Lowes/Home Depot one before.

Thank you,
With the amount of oil we are seeing breathers would drip and smell pretty quick.
Done it, tested it and smelled it.

Got mine on order now Jay. I appreciate the information you gave me on the phone. I hope you aren't still pissed at me for my comments. I know you wanted to :nk:, but I hope we can still be buds. :beerchug2:

At the end of our convo when I asked for your name, when you told me Jay, it didn't *click* for me that it was you until after we had gotten off the phone. Seriously though, thanks for the information you gave me on the phone. If these aren't going to ship next week as planned, will you update this thread for us please?

I will be ordering two of your catch cans today. I haven't ever had one on a previous vehicle and was wondering if the amount of oil people are finding in theirs on the new 5.0, is comparable to other n/a vehicles. Seems like a small amount, but a lot for the small amount of miles when checked. Any plans on a deeper/ higher capacity can? Thanks.

No plans on a deeper can. If you get more oil then this will hold you need to find the route of the problem ;)

That just got us 20 more orders, :thanks1: for posting.
Plus, it WAY more then $50.

No problem

Bro that's some pretty haggard backyard shit.... :roflmao:

That doesn't belong on a $30,000 + car.

now i see the light but when i made a DIY thread everyone loved it lol. whatever. I dont even have that on my car anymore. Now i have a HKS oil catch tank. I know im a ricer lol

Just called and ordered the oil separator for 5.0. Will be shipped out next week and there are only a few of the clear anodized left.

I have an '07 SRT8 Charger with a tune, intake and catback. I was data logging and discovered that timing was being pulled at high rpm. Long story short - I added a catch can and my timing was rock steady. Oil was definitely contaminating the intake charge and, as a result, costing me power.

As soon as my Mustang comes in, a catch can is on my short list.
