Since the OEM MAF reads both air intake, AND intake temps, the Kenne Bell kits require you to cut the OEM MAF plug off the harness, and separate the IAT wiring, and the MAF wiring, in order to put the IAT sensor in the manifold, and the MAF behind the passengers headlight, where the filter is housed.
It was a rhetorical question.
