Need help hooking up zex kit

Is the tps resistor wire a necessity? And where is the best place to splice? Also would I be able to use a regular toggle/ flip switch for the arming switch? Thanks folks.

Yes it needs to read the TPS signal
6 inches from the sensor is easy to get to

Thanks for the quick reply man. I've got the white wire, just not the physical resistor wire needed or that's listed in the kits.
