I also posted this on MM. I'm batteling this intermittend check engine light issue. It started after the SC install, it would trow a CEL light at ~85mph, I get off the gas, coast and it goes away, no codes stored. Back then I had Tillman and Techco look into the issue, the tune was good according to them. They thought it was a TB issue because they had problems seting up the TB due to the return spring. Techco a while ago sent me used TB from their stock inventory. It ran good with no issues for a while and now the stupid check engine light is back, when we tried to pull a code there are none. Only difference now it does it at any speed at any given time. I took the car to Tillman, they had it for two weeks, the fracking thing would not throw a CEL. I take it back home (45min drive) no CEL, my kid takes it out and withing 10 miles it throws four CEL's, again no codes. I am somewhat stumped with the fracking thing.
Question, is it possible it could be a simple intermittend TPS issue?

I have no clue but if you have a laptop, I would maybe try driving around data logging it until you get a data log with the Cel going off so that way they can see what is going on.

My tuner told me the throttle position sensor in the '05's are crap and were redesigned for the 06+'s. For the cost, I'd get an '07 version and put it in.

I agree, I called the Stealership and was quoted $117.00 for the TPS, Autozone was $91.00 and special order (3 day delivery). Kind steep for a potentiometer......:wtf1:
Guess I bite the bullet and get the Ford OEM one just to be safe....

Do you have a hand held tuner like a SCT or Diablo? If so you can down load the software from their site and use your tuner hooked to your laptop to data log.

Yea I got both, Diablo & SCT, I guess if the new TPS doesn't fix the issue I'll have to figure out how to data log with one of them and try to figure this issue out myself...................:thud:

Well I was finally able to pull these MF'en codes. Trick was to pull over and shut the engine off as soon as the CEL tripped. After restarting the engine the CEL light stayed on.
Here is what I got:
P0300 = Random Misfire
P0303 = Cyl 3 Misfire
P0305 = Cyl 5 Misfire
P0316 = Misfire detected on startup first 1000 rpm.
Looks like spark blow out from the SC to me, what do you think.

BTW finished installing the D-Specs this weekend, god what a diffrence.....

Man, you are just not having good luck with superchargers! First it was the infamous #004 E-force and now this CEL issue on the Techco. Hope you can finally get this thing whipped!

Yea, me too. I called Chris Tillman and he is going to look into this and call me back..............................
Other than that the car is running great, the suspension is great with the D-Specs, just need to tweak them a little and the car does make a sh*tload of power, just this intermittened CEL crap is pissing me off.............
