Im building a new motor. The last one had some vct issues. I want to use all new parts. New vct housins, new phasers, new timing chain, and whatever bolts I need. Can someone point me to the right direction of where I can get this stuff at the cheapest price? Also, should I look into replacing the guides or not? Also I want new cam tensioners...the steel ones. Part numbers and where to buy would be awesome. thanks guys.

Either Tousley Ford or Silverstate Ford both sell at 10% over cost.

Also get the 2004 timing chain guide tensioners , these are metal not plastic like in the 05+ Part #'s F6AZ-6L266-DA Tensioner - RH (2 Valve Steel Bodied and F6AZ-6L266-CA Tensioner - LH (2 Valve Steel Bodied)

Good Luck

I'm curious about the guides too. They don't seem like they are something that would wear out??? Are they a "while I'm in here" type thing?

Yea, pretty much, my old ones still looked good with 60,000 miles, BUT since it was apart, cheap insurance.

This is alot to ask but does anyone have part numbers for this stuff...

Guides
Cam Phasers left and right
Timing Chain
Phaser Bolts
VCT housing left and right

Tensioner part numbers are above.

Aside from these parts is there anything else i'm leaving out that I need? I have cams/springs/retainers and will be getting new followers aka lifters soon.

Thanks for all the help.

All parts are listed above, not sure what you mean by VCT housing though.
