Need some help, shifter part

i have never drilled and rethreaded anything. i picked up some loctite. i have a new arm on the way

It was my first too. My uncle helped me with it and just used a bolt all the way through and a nut on the other end. Good luck with the new arm. If that goes wrong I'll look for my drilled arm and send it to you just in case.

I forget where I saw it but when I had that problem I found a thread about how to drill it out and use a bolt to hold it to the linkage arm. I used that as a band aid until I could get a new arm from newtakeoff.

Huh, When I am out of stock, they are for sale for $25... LOL

i got the replacement part today, MGW had the part so they just sent it to me. Now it has the silver piece on the opposite that broke. Should i just remove it and reinsall it using the one on my car or would it be easier to swap it all out? Also, any install tips would be appreciated. Here is what they sent...
