So, is the additional rotation new for the '11s?
89 INCH-pounds and then additional rotation is putting some stress on those small bolts; although, 45* more shouldn't be a problem. just 2 cents :)

In layman's term 89 in lb = no harder then you would twist a woman's nipple.

I have never torqued an intake. I always "snug" it down then make another pass making a 1/4 turn. Just my .02.

Thanks to all who responded so quick! Unfortunately I had to wrap up an take off. Now that I look at the specs, I definitely FAR exceeded them :)

All depends on the fastener size. It's best to always use a torque wrench. I deal with fasteners torqued in inch pounds all the time and can tell you it's more than it sounds like. 25 ft lbs. on an idler pulley feels like alot less than 35 inch pounds on a 10-32 fastener. FWIW I'd say 8 inch lbs on a #06 fastener feels about like 25 ft lbs on an idler pulley to me.

The only rule of thumb that is somewhat consistant is tight plus a little more will usually get you by. For some reason proper torque always feels tight no matter what the fastener size.
