I though i posted this somewhere already, but i can't seem to find the thread i started, oh well

if you're running 295/45/18's on the rear with a pro kit or something similar, please post some pics. i just won a set of gt500 wheels on ebay and i'm looking at what tires i want to put on them, thanks.

I don't know what you are running for rear tires right now, but 295/45/18 tires are 28.5" tall (compared to stock heigh ~ 27) and heavy. With GT500 wheels, you'd be over 60 lbs a corner.

My guess is they'd make your car a fair bit slower.

they won't be track wheels and tires. going to a 28.5 tire and wheel will also help out on the highway with the 4.56's. i have a set of 265/40/18 mt et streets that i use at the track

that's a good question, i forgot to ask him that one. but looking at the picture with all the lip that wheel has it must be at least 9.5 or 10....i'm guessing 10. i think the gt500 wheels at 9.5 with a 45mm offset won't have any trouble clearing to the outside
