New 1/8th mile best

Best tonight was 7.614 @ 90.86 with a 1.743 60'. Not nearly as fast as I would have liked, but it is pretty f'ing hot. I know it could run a way faster time. Maybe a cdc shaker scoop to get some outside air in there instead of the filter that sits right above my header?...

That was at around 10pm with the air not blazing humid and the blower had a bag of ice on it for about 20 minutes.

Tomorrow is 1/4 mile.

1/4 mile, got a rain check. The tower was struck by lightning sometime in the last couple weeks and the tree, lights, slips, everything didn't work so they just did arm drops lol... but i was using the 2 step and it launches WAY better with it so i;ll be using it everytime from now on.

Next thursday is another t&t and i'll be in for free, so it should be good. the air last night was felt way better than at the 1/8th mile too.

I should mention that at the 1/8th mile there was maybe one other street car that could hang, but i never got to run him. all the others were just stupid slow. At the 1/4 mile, there was no one on street tires that even came close. It was just a slaughter.

DA comes out to 1950, trying to find a calc that does 1/8 mile...
