As some of you might know, ive had a tough time getting this build started as i had to go through a few hurdles to even get my built shortblock, in the past year i have had some bad luck with my car, i blew a window through my block in may of this year do to hydrolocking, than i replace that motor with a stock used motor that was supposed to be good and got ripped off by mechanic who said he knew how to tune these cars and put them together, he blew my second engine, so this year alone have dumped about 7 grand in motors and labor, this was all done to a car that all it had was a whipple supercharger running 10 lbs of boost, welll now i have my built shortblock that was put together by HBR (head by rick) motorsports in Las Vegas that some of you know that i went through alot jst to get it
forged shortblock consisting of
*Tecksid Aluminum Block thats sleeved all new bearings
*Forged 5.0 dished CP Pistons with 9.5:1 compression
*Manley/Saleen 5.0 Stroker 4340 Connecting Rods (h-beam)
*Eagle Forged 4340 3.750" stroked 5.0 crankshaft
*8 bolt Ford Racing Billet Steel Flywheel
*with all ARP bolts and head studs
*stock heads with some 127350 comp cams(coming soon)
*exedy mach 600 clutch
*TSS Billet Oil Pump gears (coming soon)
Forced Induction:
Whipple (H.O) 2.3lt blower running about 12-15lbs of boost
Fuel:
60lb injectors and GT500 fuel pump
Exhaust:
Pacesetter Long Tube Headers, catless h-pipe, flow master american thunder exhaust
Tuning:
Still undecided will take recomondations (im from washington state) would prefer remote tuning or mail order tune (the mustang shop that people know from up here wont tune my car unless they do the work) and my friend is a great certified ford mechanic and isnt gonna charge me for the work so that is the reason why i dont take it there for them to do the work of putting in the motor and stuff like that)
trying to be at about 550 whp no more than that and still be a daily driver
