New Cobra R wheels!

Well it was a hard thing selling the Saleen's, mostly because of the sentimental value they held as they were the product of an awesome collaboration of collective members to make the deal happen. and they looked awesome on my car. BUT they simply were not economical. tires were the biggest issue as they were rare and very expensive. so they are sold.

after several hours of searching and research i found the wheels i think will suit me and my car and budget.
i wanted something the screamed mustang, was not a small wheel, could put some meaty tires on, light and not spend a fortune on the wheels or tires. the wheels i got are the '95 Cobra R replica's. 18x9 and 18x10.

these wheels do not stand out like the saleen wheels did but i think they look great and really balance the car out. in a hurry to get them on the car i went out a bought some used tires to toss on them. the sizes are not the ideal size i would like to have on them but they are 245/45 in front and 275/40 int the rear.

its the Xenon bumpers. there is a line that runs around the bottom and i have it painted alloy under that line.

Just cruising through and saw these OE 95 Cobra R rims on your car with the Cobra center caps..They look great on your car. I am kinda biased as I have a set on my 05 GT but thet are thechromed version.
But I am running the nitto 555's 255/40 on the front and 295/45 on the rears. Haven't seem anyonels running these wheels up in my neck of the woods (Connecticut) Get alot lot of nice comments about them,enjoy cars looks super.

I dont really see why so many complain about the 19" tires though, granted there are not as many brands to choose from but the prices are not much worse than the 18's in the sizes we run..IMO

I've had the Xeon body kit on my car for a bit over 3 years now. I like the alloy point on his though, I thought about doing black myself.
