Just wanted to introduce myself. Name Is Mike and no I'm not a stang owner but a car enthusiast, at this time I own a 2006 Z06 but a good friend of mine just bought a 2010 mustang gt. Since I'm new to stangs I thought Id do some research on them since Ill be doing most of the modding on his car. I've already installed a Magnaflow 3" exahust and Eibach pro springs on his car. Thanks and I LOVE the SEARCH button. lol

Thanks Can anyone point me to thread showing the differences between the 2010 gt's and earlier models? Just looking to see what year range parts and info I need to search for. Are the 2005 and up all the same for engine and suspension parts?

No they aren't completely the same. Spark plugs are different on the 08+ models due to a change in head design. Most of the parts and mods are interchangeable between the 05-10s. The 4.6L tech area will be benefical as you mod and have questions.

Thanks Its a great car. Its actually my first domestic car lol. I was a hard core 300zx guy for a long time. And with some mustang news, My friend is going to be trading his 4.6 gt in for the new 5.0. He should have it by the end of the week so ill post pics then.

Yep I told him to wait but he had to have the new body style. Now we just have to see what type of deal ford will give him for his brand new trade in. lol it only has 4k on it. But at least I convinced him to get the brembo brake option.

I am new as well and so far this is a great resource for the S197 platform bar none. I am on a lot of other sites but co-mingled with multi platform foxbody to SN95s to S197 to other modular based Fords.
