Bone stock 2006 Mustang GT with 17K miles. Black w/ tungsten stripes, 5 speed, leather interior, shaker 1000 stereo, stock 18 inch wheels.
I've had the car for about a year and a half and am finally ready for some mods. First plan is wheels and tires (20 inchers), then suspension (eibach) then exhaust.

Anyone tried a true side exhaust???

Sup. Yea side exhaust and lowering is a no go. I can barely get my jack under my car as it is and its lowered with stock sideskirts.

Shame on me...sorry guys. I didnt mean to abandon my first post. You know how it goes...work...other %^&$. Thanks for the warm welcome.

That's kind of what I was afraid of. Anyone tried oval tube or any other methods for getting the exhaust out in front of the wheels. Maybe less lowering, maybe 1/2 inch; a bigger wheel/tire combo (what's the deal with no 20" wheels) and oval low profile pipes.

Also, any thoughts on JBA long tube headers, off raod H pipe, cherry bombs and a quick dump out the side with oval pipes. It's certainly oldschool, but it should sound great.

Just dreaming...still mnths before I can get my ride back on the raod.

Later

Jake
