Just got it last night. I can't wait till I install tonight. Now if my cams would just come in I ordered I would be set.

My wife said she didn't like it be cause I would have to lose my engine cover. O well I didn't buy my car for looks I want it to be fast. LOL

Next after the cams is going to be the bottle!

Subscribed. I hope you have a 'before' and 'after' dyno to see how much gain you get with the C&L intake. Very interested in your results.

Yes. Paul at SVPU.com done it on a turbo car. I will try where he posted it and put up the link. I think it picked up about 40 RWHP. It was really impressive for just the intake.

dyno before and after the C&L

then install the cams after wards.

I wasn't planing on dynoing it but I'm trying to set it up for tonight. Doug @ BamaChips is going to be at a local Dyno and I'm trying to get me a spot so I can dyno it before and after.

So if I get me a spot we will have Dyno sheets tomorrow.

Ok as of now I have a time set tonight to go to the Dyno. I'm going to do a pull the way it is and then a pull after the new tune and the C&L intake. I will post the numbers tomorrow before and after and if I can figure out how I will post the dyno sheet also.

I ordered mine in May. So did they ship it to you and you got it last night? I ordered mine May 5th and it is still not here. C&L said they were going to start shipping them Oct. 23rd. How did you get yours so fast??

Oh yeah they made the runners shorter on the new intake.

I got mine from Doug at BamaChips. He had one in stock and I went and got mine from him. Mine still has the long runners. I can send it back and get the short runners if I want. Don't know if I want to or not. I'm going to talk to Lee and see what he says.

Ok back from the Dyno.

Base run. Max power 298.36 Max Torque 308.55

Mods:

JLT cold air
Roush underdrive pullyes
IMRC delete plates
Magnaflow highflow x pipe
PYPES axle back
3.90 gears
Roush short throw shifter
Dougs @ BamaChips 93 RACE tune

After C&L intake:

1st run. Max Power 305.77 Max Torque 304.73
2nd run. Max Power 305.73 Max Torque 306.44

Mods:

C&L Intake (Long Runner) Has not been sent back for the short runner change.
JLT cold air
Roush underdrive pullyes
Magnaflow highflow x pipe
PYPES axle back
3.90 gears
Roush short throw shifter
Dougs @ BamaChips 93 RACE tune

Funny thing is from 2000 to about 3300 rpms the car made more torque than the stock intake with delete plates did.

On the stock intake and delete plates it started to get a little choppy after about 5000 rpms up and the C&L was smoother and started picking up power at 5000. At 5700 rpms the C&L made 10 more hp than the stock intake with delete plates did.

Sorry I'm not good at doing a write up.

Dyno001 shows the pulls before and after the intake.

Dyno002 shows the full pulls.

Dyno003 shows the the horsepower differences between the runs at 5,700 rpms.

Sorry I had to take pictures with my phone and then post them on here. So the pics might not be good. SORRY!
