Yes. He owned up to it. I guess I need to think about holding the keys. Sucks, but he is a good friend. He's going to make it good. Still don't know why I. Was called a troll. Or what it means. Thanks for all of your thoughts. I. Do appreciate it.

glad to hear the mystery got solved.

to repair the hinges just put a 13mm socket between the door and the hinge. place it somewhere it will get stuck between the hinge 1/2's to hold the door open. slightly press on the door with the socket is jammed in the hinge. this will bend the hinge at the cowl back to it's original place.
start slowly, bend the hinge a little before you bend it a lot.
you may have to repeat bending a few times before you get it right.

I had to do this repair 2 times today, it was windy yesterday. customers wanted to be able to drive the car this weekend with working doors. they will drop them off on Monday to be repaired

This is a follow up to the previous posts. My friend got in the car to check it out. Put the clutch in and then the car backed up and the door hit a tree. He's taking full responsibility for his mistake. Mystery solved. MRT2you. You were exactly right. Apparently he took the stang for a ride when I was in his house.

I was going to ask what you backed into, with the door, while it was open.

This is why nobody ever gets the keys. A clutch car owner always knows you have the e brake up or foot on the brake when depressing the clutch. Nice you figured it out.

Not sure why the guy didn't get punched in the face.
