Yes I did. As well as a spare set of the stockers but without caps. When the latest set of rims were swapped out to 18"s, the pony caps went away with the other set. Plan was to go back to the 17"s, utilizing the extra set of rims sitting on my 3rd floor apartment patio and getting less expensive tires. Until the 17" tires that were supposed to come in today ended up on backorder, and I'd just ordered the friggin' pony caps to complete the 17" rims set. Then a very good person found a set of 18" tires for me at a great price so I can keep the current 18" setup on the car, which do look a helluva lot better than the stockers did.
Point was, I was trying to get the most practical use out of the tires I had, and this latest set was worn out down to the steel tread on the fronts. The old 17"s were at least able to be cross-rotated.
At this point, I don't care what tires go on the car, so long as I can drive it safely again. Clients and kid's stuff have been my focus lately, not so much the car.
