Oil cap breather 05-09 3v Help needed

Hey guys, Im trying to figure out the way to go with my pcv system, im running a procharger setup on my 3 valve, I opted to go with vented valve covers and plug the hole in procharger intake. I heard that its a good practice to put the breather instead of oil cap as well, are they making any breathers like that, or at least anybody knows the diameter of the filler neck or any other option? is my logic even right? Basically asking for what part can i use instead of oil cap to make it a breather?

You can go with an eBay special. And yes you want to vent the crankcase you are going to have a lot of blow by with the forced induction. But with breathers instead of catch cans, expect some dripping oil to clean up.

It will help but it might not be the total solution. Remove the driver's side cam cover and remove the pcv valve. Even though you have a breather on that side nothing will vent unless you give it a blow job and suck it out of there. You will have to cut a little baffle and then you will see a bulge in the line underneath it. Don't remove the baffle. Just cut it along one side and peel it back to expose where the valve sits. After cutting out the pcv valve you can kinda fold the baffle back to help with any oil spray.

The reason why so much crap is coming out of the passenger side is it is currently the only outlet for your crankcase to vent. By putting the oil cap breather on along with removing the pcv valve will give you 3 vents instead of just the one.

I had the catch can in place before I removed the PCV. I did not preserve the baffle, I just cut it open and removed the valve without the flap. Afterwards, if it made any difference of what came out of the PCV valve opening. It was not noticeable in the volume in the catch can.

I know it is Old not an S197 (but so am I) but a Windsor was simple to vent the crankcase !
