Old vs new 3v heads

I have a 07GT and plan on porting a set of heads. I acquired a 2010 5.4 for the updated heads and need to know if everything is same except better spark plugs? Yes I used the search bar but if there is a link please let me know. Thanksh

AFAIK everything is the same on 3V heads manufactured from 1st December 2007 onwards apart from the spark plug holes so they should be a direct swap. Obviously you'd need the newer one-piece plugs (Motorcraft SP509) but you'd also need a set of coils with the brown boots.

Thanks Brother Dino; I was thinking you would help me. Ive got one off and it looks good but top of cam journals look bad
