This is where I ended up, came home from work, opened the garage and at first glance I couldn't take the vinyl no more... 2 days was long enough lol. Vinyl gone, put matte black vinyl back on the fogs and reinstalled the GT grille. Still not sold on blacking out the pony I'll leave it paint matched for now. Thanks for all the input everyone

I knew there was something up with the pony!!! Paint matched is interesting. You could always try the Plasti-Dip. Do it right and it will come right off if you don't like it.

Usually it comes out looking pretty good.
