I'm getting ready to replace my old pads (they've needed replacing for a while now).

From Seer's sticky, this is what I'm ordering based on replacing my old LC CCS pads.

Orange LC CCS pad equivalent to the Tangerine Hydro Tech LC Pads (for applying Optimum Compund II)
White LC CCS pad equivalend to the Cyan Hydro Tech (for Optimum Polish II)
Crimson Hydro Tech pads (for applying Black light)

Please correct me if I'm wrong on my assumption of what the equivalent to each is and or if I'm using the wrong product for each pad as well.

Also, if I have a PC this backing plate should work for 4" pads, correct?

Thanks

I had that backwards and have corrected it

Cyan = LC Orange
Tangerine = LC White
Crimson = LC Grey

Awesome, thanks again.

Hey if you're still looking for the pads, we have a bunch in stock, and you can take advantage of the 15% off deal we're running on detailing products.

Give me a call if you have any questions.

I'm gonna dig this thread back up...In a few days I'll be ordering some new pads as well. As much as I'd like a Flex, I doubt it will happen this year so I'm sticking with the PC. My question is, what is the real selling point on the 5.5 x 7/8 inch pads versus the 5.5 x 1.25 inch pads. The extra thickness will allow the product to build up I figure, but is there an advantage one has over the other size? I've also got the Lake Country dimpled pads and will switch to the Hydrotech pads upon seer's recommendation, but are the flat Hydrotech pads a good buy or should I look to another design?

Flat... basically low powered DA's run the 7/8, higher powered run the 1.25"
